Free Russian Balalaika Concert Coming to Central
What is a Balalaika? It’s a folk, three-string, triangular musical instrument of Russian origins that produces a beautiful, melodic sound. Make plans to attend, for the first time in Winston-Salem, a special Balalaika concert by a group of musicians from the Russian city of Syktyvkar, capital of the Komi Republic. Sponsored by the Russian Cultural Center-Embassy of Russian Federation and the Library. A reception will follow the concert.
