Come see the Associated Artists of Winston-Salem's Archives and Artwork on Exhibit
Associated Artists of Winston-Salem is experiencing a homecoming of sorts with its exhibition of archival materials, history, and artwork currently on view in the North Carolina Collection at Forsyth County Central Library through Thursday, July 31.
The Associated Artists of Winston-Salem is a volunteer-run nonprofit 501(c)(3) fine arts organization that started in 1955 with a meeting at the Central Library. Throughout its 70 years of history, the Associated Artists has put together numerous art shows, exhibitions, community events, and fundraisers. Some names of members you might know include sculptor Earline Heath King, expressionist and portraitist Joseph Wallace King, and watercolor artist and furniture designer Bob Timberlake.
Visit the North Carolina Collection on the second floor of the Central Library before July 31 to Learn more about the art, artists, and exhibitions supported and organized by Associated Artists of Winston-Salem.
