Sergeant Craig N. McKnight Retires

Sergeant Craig N. McKnight began his Law Enforcement career in 1997. Sergeant McKnight earned several promotions throughout his career with his last promotion to the rank of Sergeant in 2021.

During his career, Sergeant Craig McKnight earned several certifications and training throughout his 26 years of service. He also received three (3) letters of commendation and the FCSO 25 Years’ Service Commendation Bar.

Sergeant McKnight served in the U.S. Air Force, as Senior Airman E-4, from 1986 to 1996. He received the Outstanding Unit Award with 1 OLC, the Good Conduct Medal with 02 OLCs, and the National Defense Service Medal. He also earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Gardner-Webb University in 2014.

Throughout the course of his career, Sergeant Craig McKnight served in various capacities within the Law Enforcement Detention Center and the Investigative Services Division. At the time of his retirement, he was the Sergeant in Field Services Division.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office wishes Sergeant Craig N. McKnight all the best in his future endeavors.
