A new, adult gardening program will be taking place at Brown & Douglas Neighborhood Center beginning in May. Learn about nutrition, physical activity, and introductory gardening techniques. Sessions will include hands-on experiences in a community garden.
A six-week series discussing how to make healthy choices and stay active, all on a budget! Beginning the conversations of incorporating a variety of fruits and vegetables into our everyday meals, and how to effectively plan, shop, and cook delicious, healthy meals.
