Particle pollution levels are elevated and upper code YELLOW, Friday, as Canadian wildfire smoke settles across the region. This smoke is circulating around high pressure, located over the NE US. By Monday, particle pollution may drop back to low code YELLOW or even upper code GREEN. Ozone will remain code GREEN each day but begin to climb by Monday, as a warmer, sunnier weather patter returns (GENTRY).
