In North Carolina, you may only vote in the primary election of the party with which you are affiliated/registered. If you register as unaffiliated,
you may be allowed to vote in a primary election if a party allows unaffiliated voters to vote in their primary election. In primary elections you
NOMINATE party candidates and in general elections you ELECT officials.
