Fees

Instruments with excessive recording data will be charged an additional $2.00 for each party listed over 20 including attachments and exhibits. NCGS 147-54.3. Effective 10-1-2015

The fee for Deeds of Trust and Mortgages increased to $64.00 for the first $35 pages, plus $4.00 for each additional page. NCGS 161-10(a). Effective 10-1-2016

Personal checks, counter checks or E-checks are not accepted. If sending a document by mail, checks and money orders should be made payable to the Forsyth County Register of Deeds. Enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope with your payment to receive a copy of the recorded document.

Payment should be for the exact emount of the transaction. Customers using a credit or debit card will be charged an additional fee of 3% of the transaction or a minimum of $1.00. We do not accept credit and debit card transaction by telephone.
