Out of the Darkness
In the United States, someone dies from suicide every 16 seconds, claiming more than 32,000 lives every year. It is estimated that a suicide attempt is made every minute. By walking in the Out of the Darkness Community Walk held on Saturday, September 12 to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), you will be walking with thousands of people nationwide to raise money for AFSP's vital research and education programs to prevent suicide and save lives, increase national awareness about depression and suicide, and assist survivors of suicide loss.
To participate or for more information, visit the
American Foundation for Suicide Prevention website.
