Master Gardeners to Hold Annual Plant Sale

The Forsyth County Master Gardener Plant Sale will be held Friday, September 18th, from noon to 6 PM and Saturday, September 19th, from 8 AM to noon. The sale takes place rain or shine at the Forsyth County Agricultural Building located at 1450 Fairchild Road in Winston-Salem. Funds raised by this annual event support the Forsyth County Master Gardnener program.

Master Gardener Volunteers will be on hand throughout the sale with advice on selecting and growing plants, which are donated by local nurseries, garden centers and volunteers. The wide selection of plants usually includes:

• Perennials for sun and shade
• Ground covers
• Ornamental trees, shrubs & vines
• Mums
• Wildflowers & ferns
• Rain garden kits

Grilled hot dogs, cold drinks and all the fixings will be available for purchase on Friday from noon to 1:30 PM.
