Public Hearing and Opportunity for Public Comment
The Forsyth County Environmental Affairs will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at 10:00 am in the Environmental Affairs Department at 537 N. Spruce St., Winston-Salem, NC. The hearing will include the following proposed repeals and modifications to Chapter 3 of the Forsyth County Air Quality Control Code and Air Quality Ordinance and Technical Code.

Any person may appear before the Environmental Affairs Board and bring representatives, consultants, and witnesses to be heard relative to the code modifications, provided advance notice is given to the Department Director of such matter to be considered.
Additional information on these issues is available for public review at the Forsyth County Environmental Affairs Department, 537 N. Spruce Street, Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The public comment period begins today and ends on September 15, 2009.

The following rules are proposed repeals in Subchapter 3D, .0900 - Volatile Organic Compounds: .0953 Vapor Return Piping for Stage II Vapor Recovery, and .0954 Stage II Vapor Recovery.
