Seasonal Flu Vaccines Available

The Health Dept. is offering FREE seasonal flu vaccinations to all people 6 months of age and older during regular clinic hours.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8:30 am - 3:45 pm
Wednesday 9:30 am - 6:45 pm
Friday 8:30 am - 11:45 am

There should be an adequate supply of seasonal flu vaccine this flu season. The recommendation from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention is for all people 6 months of age and older to be vaccinated for seasonal flu.

While there are many different flu viruses, the flu vaccine protects against the three viruses that research suggests will be most common. The 2010-2011 flu vaccine will protect against an influenza A H3N2 virus, an influenza B virus and the 2009 H1N1 virus that caused so much illness last season. Only one shot is required.
