How “Tweet” It Is

On any given day there is so much going on at the Library that we sometimes find it a challenge to get our information out to everyone in a timely manner. Just take a look at a ten day period starting January 23rd.

This past Sunday we had an overflow crowd for the Russian Golden Gates, a high energy group of young singers and dancers from St. Petersburg Russia. On January 24th we had a great workshop on building a winning resume for job seekers. Next Monday, January 31st we’re holding a much asked for program on home foreclosure. We have an appearance by New York Times bestselling author Kimberla Lawson Roby on February 1st and a program by beloved NC author Clyde Edgerton on February 3rd.

And that doesn’t even include story times for kids, teen events and preparation for our Spring Lawn and garden series. Plus there are new databases to announce, plus our…. well you get the idea.

Now you can keep up to date with all important Library happenings by following us on our new Twitter account. It’s absolutely free and by signing up you’re guaranteed not to miss any of what’s going on at the Library. And we promise not to flood you with fluff and blather. We’ll only “tweet” about information you can use.

Go to http://twitter.com/#!/FCPublicLibrary to sign up today to have important news of the Library delivered straight to your PC, smart phone, or other smart device absolutely free.
