JCPC Announces Availability of Funds

The Forsyth County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council announces the availability of up to $713,108 in intervention and prevention funds for services to youth most at-risk of court involvement. JCPC funds require a local cash or in-kind match of 30%. Based on the local JCPC planning process conducted to date, the continuum of program services and structures needed in Forsyth County have been identified, in rank order, as the following:

  1. Restitution and Community Work Service
  2. Juvenile Psychological Assessments
  3. Temporary Shelter
  4. Counseling
  5. Parent/Family Skills
  6. Teen Court
  7. Tutoring/Academic Enhancement
  8. Interpersonal Skills

Local public agencies, 501(c)(3) non-profit corporations and local housing authorities are invited to submit an application (Program Agreements) for programs addressing the above elements. Application forms and other necessary information may be downloaded from the DJJDP website.
