Documentary Film Camp for Teens

The Teen Central Department in partnership with the Documentary Film Program at Wake Forest University will host a documentary film day camp for teens at Central Library July 25th through July 29th.

The camp will teach local teens the basics of documentary filmmaking including interview techniques, camera operation, lighting and editing. Participants will work in teams of two to produce a three to five minute film by the end of camp. A screening of finished films will take place in the Central Library Auditorium on Monday, August 1st @ 1:00 pm.

Participants will use Library resources in researching content for their films which can be on any topic.

Space is limited to ten teens. The camp is free and registration is on a first-come first-serve basis. To register and for full details e-mail dwiggidr@forsyth.cc.
