4th Annual NC Pawpaw Festival

Please join us on Saturday, August 27th, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Jack Warren Park in Lewisville for the 4th Annual NC Pawpaw Festival. This event is presented jointly between Forsyth Cooperative Extension, MKT Real Estate Group, Master Gardener Volunteers and local growers.

What’s a pawpaw? It’s the largest fruit native to North America and we have them right here in North Carolina! Join us to learn more about this flavorful fruit that was a favorite of GeorgeWashington and Thomas Jefferson.We will have presentations and informational leaflets about growing and using pawpaw and pawpaw nutrition plus there will be lots of FREE pawpaw dishes for you to sample and see for yourself just how great the pawpaw is!
