Pups in the Park

Please join the Forsyth County Humane Society for the Pups in the Park event Wednesday, August 31 at the BB&T Dash Field in Winston-Salem!

Dog owners can enjoy a night out with their best friend watching the Dash open, a three-game series with the Salem Red Sox. This event is the first of its kind at BB&T Ballpark, and sponsored by Carolina Pet Place. For $15, fans receive a game ticket for the Nature's Select Knoll that spans fair and foul territory in left field, in addition to one Pooch Pass for their dog to attend the game. Before the game, the dogs will be able to walk on the warning track in a Pup Parade.

Included in the ticket price is a $5 donation to the Forsyth County Humane Society, and a portion of those proceeds will benefit the Dog Park at Tanglewood coming in 2012. The Dog Park at Tanglewood Committee is in the process of raising funds for the dog park, and you can donate now at www.dogparkattanglewood.org.

Each dog that attends the ballgame needs to have written proof of vaccination (specifically rabies) from a veterinarian. Pooch Passes are also in limited supply, so fans are encouraged to contact Sarah Baumann in the Winston-Salem Dash ticket office at (336) 714-6878 to reserve their tickets.
