WIC Supports Families at the Dixie Classic Fair

WIC at the FairFor over 20 years, the health department’s WIC (The Special Supplemental Foods Program for Women, Infants and Children) program has provided a clean and quiet place for families to change their babies and toddlers diapers and for moms to breastfeed at the Dixie Classic Fair. The building is equipped with changing tables and a private space for moms to relax and breastfeed their baby. WIC staff as well as health department nurses and health educators staff the building and are available to answer general questions about health and nutrition.

The Breastfeeding and Diaper Changing building is open Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 9 am to 9 pm and Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday from 11 am to 9 pm.
