Celebrating Community Through Gardens

Sample healthy dishes prepared from local produce, find a community garden in your neighborhood, and have some fun! Learn how to grow your own food and how to prepare that garden-grown produce into a tasty meal. Bob for apples, decorate a pumpkin, make an okra ornament, learn about vermicomposting, seed saving, nutrition from the garden and more! Come to "Celebrating Community through Gardens" to learn more about community gardening in Forsyth County. There will be music, food, and fun and it is free!

Join us for a celebration of community and the role that gardening and healthy living plays in bringing people together. Learn more about community gardening in Forsyth County through hands on activities, educational demonstrations, and displays for the garden enthusiast and the health and community minded citizens of Forsyth County. Meet people from our community who are interested in healthy living. This event is open to the General Public, Community Gardeners, those interested in gardening, and supporting community gardens, those interested in local foods and healthy lifestyles.
