Multi-use Asphalt Trail at Tanglewood is Now Officially Open!

The Multi-use Asphalt Trail at Tanglewood Park is now officially open!

Construction and final details have been completed. This trail is perfect for walkers, runners, bicyclists, and in-line skaters. Take your dog for a walk or push your stroller along the scenic trail that winds, gently sloping, through the wooded areas of Tanglewood Park!

The trail is the ideal location for spotting birds, deer, and other wildlife that make the park their homes. Bring your binoculars for an up-close look at hidden animals, and your camera for a quick snapshot of your favorite picturesque views.

This multi-use asphalt trail is 10 feet wide, and the outer perimeter is almost 2 miles long. Kiosks located along the trail offer a large trail system map, along with park information and rules. Stop for a quick rest or to take a look around on one of our many conveniently located benches along the trail.

The starting point for the trail is located just beyond the Welcome Center in the gravel lot by the RV Campground. For safety purposes, there can be no motorized use of the trail.
