Bird Watching for Beginners

Spend the morning at Triad Park on Saturday, October 6, for a Bird Watching for Beginners class! The class is free to the public and will be located at Triad Park’s Shelter #2 from 9:00 am – 11:30 am.

The class will be held by Liz Schmid, the owner of Wild Birds Unlimited in High Point and former member of the Audubon Society. The class will go over the basics of binoculars, how to identify birds, where to look for birds in the Triad area, learn how to use a field guide, plus take a bird walk!

Participants should bring their own sunscreen, insect repellent and water bottle, and wear comfortable hiking clothes/shoes. Programs are designed for all ages, but children ages 16 and below must be accompanied by an adult.

Contact Paulette Dodson at (336) 399-8105 for more information and to reserve your space!
