Cycling Sunday and Fun Day on the Greenway

Bring the entire family to Cycling Sunday Fun Day on Sunday, May 19, 3:30- 6:00 PM. Cyclists, skaters and pedestrians can enjoy a 1-mile loop route that will be closed to automobile travel. For more family fun, an adjacent stretch of greenway will have games, educational booths, and other activities. This FREE event is great for people of all ages!

The Winston-Salem/ Forsyth County elementary school that has the greatest participation in this event will receive $400 in PE equipment. What a great way to have fun and support your local elementary school! Get outside and cycle, walk or skate in an auto-free zone and enjoy the beauty around Old Salem. Note: helmets are required for cyclists and skaters. Registration and parking are at Gateway Family Practice (390 West Salem Avenue). There is no charge for this event.
