Public Sale of Surplus Library Furniture

Forsyth County will be holding a public sale of surplus Library furniture, fixtures and equipment from 10am -2pm, on Friday, February 27th.

The sale will be held in the parking deck attached to the Central Library located at 660 West 5th Street in Winston-Salem. Parking is available in the parking lot located on the corner of 5th Street and North Spring Street (across from Bib's restaurant). All items for sale will be located in the Library's parking deck which may be accessed from Spring Street and 4 1/2 Street; no access to the building will be allowed. Loading of purchased items must occur on either 5th Street or 4 1/2 Street; loading on Spring Street is not allowed. County staff will not be available to assist in the loading process; the customer assumes full responsibility for purchased items.

At the sale, over 400 items will be available for purchase by the general public. All items must be removed from the premises by 2pm on the day of the sale. A summary of the items listed for sale is located below along with sample pictures of each category. Items will be available on a first come, first served basis. Items may not be reserved or otherwise placed on hold; to purchase an item, full payment in the form of cash is required. The only form of payment accepted will be cash. Items are not available for viewing prior to the actual sale.
