Public Health Celebrates Maternal Health Achievements

Forsyth County Department of Public Health celebrates a Century of Service and maternal health achievements in Public Health. In 1918, 1 in 5 babies died before their first birthday. In 2014, we reached a historic low with 6.4 infant deaths per 1,000 live births.We have made great strides improving birth outcomes but there is still work to be done.
