Spring 2017 Pesticide Safety Schools in Winston-Salem

There will be two pesticide safety schools in Winston-Salem in spring 2017. Pesticide schools are hosted by the NC State Pesticide Safety Education Program with the help of NC Cooperative Extension and the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (NCDA&CS).

The schools in Winston-Salem will be held on February 8-9 and on April 12-13. Schools will be held at the NC Cooperative Extension Office at 1450 Fairchild Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27105.

Each pesticide school will last 1 ½ days, starting at 8:30 AM each day. Please arrive early if you need to register for the school. You can pre-register and order manuals online at this website. It is recommended that you order manuals early so you can review them before the school. Please allow at least a week for the manuals to arrive. Click here for the manual order form if you prefer to order by mail.

The pesticide exams will be held at 1:00 PM on the second day of the school. To pre-register for the exams, click here.

Please visit pesticidesafety.ces.ncsu.edu for more information about pesticide licenses. The full schedule of spring 2017 pesticide schools is available here. Any questions about obtaining a pesticide license can be directed to Andrea Johnson by emailing pesticide-edu@ncsu.edu or calling 919-515-3113.
