Volunteer for the Fall Workday at Tanglewood Arboretum

N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center, will hold a Fall Volunteer Workday at the Arboretum at Tanglewood Park from 9am-12pm on Saturday, September 29, 2018.

We need your help to prepare the Arboretum's many gardens for fall. We will be mulching, moving plant material, completing tool maintenance, and other fall gardening tasks. We need your person-power to help accomplish these jobs! Volunteers should expect to get dirty, tasks may include walking, lifting, bending, etc.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

Cooperative Extension relies on volunteers to assist with maintenance of the Arboretum as a demonstration garden and educational space for Forsyth County residents to learn about horticulture and gardening.

If you don't normally volunteer at the Arboretum, this is a great opportunity to learn more about it and the volunteers who work there regularly.

All participants must be 12 years old or older. The parents or guardians of minors will need to sign a liability release waiver.

Please contact Erin McSpadden 336-703-2848 with questions.
