Money Smart Week is March 30-April 6

Forsyth County Public Library presents this annual series of programs to help you be smart with your money.

Travel With a Purpose: International Volunteering and Tourism

Attendees should leave feeling savvy and empowered about traveling, knowing that one of the biggest stress-causers, money, is manageable with the proper tools and preparation. Presented by Sean McGlynn, study abroad adviser at Wake Forest University.

For younger kids, the following storytimes will focus on money

April 2 at 10:15 a.m. - Bunny Money Storytime

Children will learn about money and basic money management skills in the special storytime. A banker from out local Wells Fargo will be visiting and will help us make piggy banks. Stories, rhymes, songs and activities. Recommended for children ages 3-5.

April 3 at 10 a.m. - Money-Themed Preschool Storytime
for ages 3-6.
April 4 at 10 a.m. - Money-Themed Toddler Storytime for ages 2 and under.

Carver School Road Branch Library
April 3 at 4 p.m. - Money Smarts for Girls

Girls will learn how to make wise financial decisions even at a young age, with fun exercises and material to help reinforce these values. For girls grades 2-5. Presented by Shae King, N.C. Cooperative Extension Service.
