DSS Deputy Director Elected to National Eligibility Workers Association Board

Forsyth County Department of Social Services Deputy Director Elizabeth White has been chosen as a member of the Board of Directors for the National Eligibility Workers Association (NEW PATHS).

NEW PATHS is a national non-profit organization devoted to improving the knowledge, skills and overall professionalism of eligibility workers who determine the eligibility of applicants and recipients for public assistance programs. NEW PATHS does this by providing information, training, and a network of services and support.

White was elected to a three year term on the National Board of Directors by her fellow NEW PATHS members. The new board members were announced at the 44th Annual NEW PATHS Training Conference held in Las Vegas, Nevada from August 18-21.

White, who has been a member of NEW PATHS for the last 5 years, was also a part of a panel that discussed supervision and career development during the conference.
