The Lewisville Branch Library welcomes North Carolina Museum of History curator Earl L Ijames for a special Black History Month presentation. This presentation highlights the experiences of African Americans, American Indians, and whites in the struggle for equal rights for oppressed citizens in the state of North Carolina, focusing on the years from the 1830s to the 1980s. Because of these courageous citizens’ efforts, all groups today can claim certain civil liberties and inalienable rights.
Sponsored by the Friends of the Lewisville Library. Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 6 p.m.
