Forsyth County Beekeepers Association meeting to feature talk on Queen Rearing and Queen Castles

Come enjoy our first Forsyth County Beekeepers Association meeting of the year with a great talk about raising queens and using queen castles. George McAllister, from the Charlotte area, will talk about how queen castles can supply production hives with resources (queens, brood, bees, drawn comb) throughout the year and can be a part of swarm management practices.

Covered dish dinner starts at 5:30 p.m., followed by the presentation at 6:15. Business meeting at 7:15 p.m.

All FCBA meetings take place at N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center, 1450 Fairchild Road, Winston-Salem.

This event is free and open to the general public.
