What's in Bloom Right Now in Forsyth County?

Each week, we update our what’s in bloom page. Visit that page for even more photos, information on where you can go to see these plants, and archived photos from past weeks.

Here are some photos of what is blooming this week at Extension’s gardens in Forsyth County. Great information on all these plants and more is available at the NC Extension Gardener Plant Toolbox.

Week of April 16

This week we saw a light frost, which should be one of the last ones here in Forsyth County. There are still spring ephemerals blooming. Our gardens feature shrubs and trees with small white flowers in bloom right now (e.g. fringetree and deutzia), as well as larger, bolder blooms (e.g. rhododendron and iris).
