Join Extension for a Virtual Class on Deer Resistant Gardening

N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center, will continue to offer the Arboretum Adult Education series virtually in the month of August.

This month, the topic is “No Deer Here.” Are deer a pest problem in your yard? We can help. Join us for this class to learn how to minimize deer damage by understanding deer behavior and using repellents, fencing, and deer resistant plants. Tyler O’Mara, Nursery Manager and Certified Arborist for Habitat Assessment and Restoration Professionals, will present this program.

We are currently offering our Adult Education classes virtually using Zoom. Registration is required and will open two weeks before each class date on our eventbrite page.

The Arboretum Adult Education series is presented by N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center, in partnership with Forsyth County Extension Master Gardener Volunteers. When we are able to hold in-person programs, this series is held at the Arboretum and Gardens at Tanglewood Park.
