The Farm to Fork Camp Local Foods Work Group is hosting a statewide 4-H Virtual Farm to Fork Camp for 4-H youth grades 3-12 on March 6, 13, and 20, 2021, from 10 a.m. until noon. Do you know where your food comes from? Do you like to cook? If so, join us for the 4-H Farm to Fork Camp. Youth will learn about the food on your plate and where it came from. This camp will include 3 sessions. Participants will learn about agriculture, virtually visit local farms and learn to prepare delicious dishes using local ingredients. There will be a 4th session that participants will complete on their own. Once the sessions are complete, we will announce a competition where 4-H’ers will compete in a Virtual Healthy Food Challenge. During this competition, participants will take a mystery basket of ingredients and transform it into an amazing dish!
North Carolina 4-H members (80 spaces) and volunteers (20 spaces) can register for this free workshop in the new 4-H Online 2.0 and signing into their 4-H Online account and heading to events.
