It's a Jungle out There!

Non-native plants become invasive when they spread uncontrolled to crowd out ornamentals, native plants and wildlife. According to NC State Extension, invasive plants are present in one out of every ten acres in southern forests, and they have the potential to double their impact over the next 50 years. How can we slow this invasion? Join N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center, and Natural Resources Agent Phyllis B. Smith for a 2-hour webinar to learn how Integrated Pest Management (IPM) techniques can be used to create efficient and ecologically sound management plans through a combination of biological, mechanical, cultural, and chemical controls.

Continuing Education Credits offered. Participants must attend the entire 2.0 hour webinar at the scheduled time to qualify:
NC Landscape Contractors, 2L
NC Pestcide License: 2.0 D,G,H,L,N, and X
NC Environmental Education Certification, Criteria III and VI
