County offices closed for Fourth of July

Forsyth County government offices will be closed, except for essential personnel, on Monday, July 5, in observance of Independence Day and will reopen Tuesday, July 6, at 8 a.m.

Use of fireworks are prohibited at county parks. No fireworks shows are planned at any county park. Firework shows are scheduled for the weekend at Truist Stadium and Quarry Park in Winston-Salem and in the towns of Kernersville and Rural Hall.

Public Health's vaccination clinic will be closed from July 3-5, but Public Health staff will be giving COVID vaccinations at Cooks Flea Market on Saturday, July 3, from 10 a.m.-4p.m. and at the July 4th concert at Triad Park from 4 p.m.-7 p.m.
