Pickling During The Winter Season

Do you enjoy pungent, sweet-sour flavors? Pickling fruits and vegetables may just delight your taste buds. Pickling is an alternative way to preserve fruits and vegetables and enjoy them year-around. Learn how to pickle this winter and holiday season to compliment your holiday meals and have great gift-giving ideas for family and friends.

This workshop is a Safe Plates Home Food Preservation Training designed for those who wish to gain knowledge on how to safely pickle fruit and vegetables during the winter season. Participants will learn the basics of quick pickling and fermentation.
