Forsyth County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) Requests Proposals for Youth Programs

The Forsyth County JCPC has issued an RFP for community organizations and programs that serve at-risk youth and Juvenile Justice involved youth. These programs will serve Forsyth County area youth from July 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023.

Program priorities include evidence-based gang prevention/intervention programs, group homes providing (EBP), restitution service, psychological evaluations, trauma informed counseling, mediation and conflict resolution, among others.

Proposed programs should target risk factors for delinquency, to include youth who have prior offenses, have a history of runaway behavior, use or abuse drugs or alcohol, have moderate to serious school behavior problems, who have parents who have difficulty providing adequate supervision for their children, and youth who sometimes or regularly associate with delinquent youth or associate with or are gang members.

Evidence based programs and programs who can demonstrate financial sustainability outside of the JCPC are preferred.

All interested programs are strongly recommended to participate in the Virtual Pre-Bid Workshop on December 14, 2021, from 1:30pm – 3:30pm. The meeting link can be found here.

Please visit the Forsyth County JCPC website to view the current RFP and for more information about the council.
