Our winter schedule is as follows:

Wednesday, February 2 - Vegetable Gardening in Small Spaces
Celine Richard, Extension Agent for Small Farms, Urban Agriculture, and Local Foods
Did you know that you can grow just about any vegetable in a 5 gallon hardware store bucket? Join us to discuss strategies for growing in tight spaces

Wednesday, March 16 - Stream Restoration: Why and How
Tyler O’Mara, Nursery Manager and Company Arborist at Habitat Assessment and Restoration Professionals
The presentation will focus on the causes of stream degradation, why it’s important to mitigate, how problems are mitigated, and finally how you can help.

We will continue this series in the spring with classes in April and May. Check back later for more information on those sessions. For questions about the Arboretum Adult Education series, please contact Leslie Rose (leslie_rose@ncsu.edu or 336-703-2850).
