Home and Community Care Block Grant Funding for FY23

Forsyth County announces the planning for availability of Home and Community Care Block Grant (HCCBG) funds for the state fiscal year beginning July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023. Funding is dependent upon the availability of state and federal funds. This available funding is to provide any of the HCCBG services. The HCCBG was designed to establish an efficient and effective service delivery system for meeting the needs of a rapidly growing older adult population. A link to the HCCBG Procedures Manual can be found at http://www.ncdhhs.gov/aging/manual/hccbg/hccbg.htm.

Any public, private-nonprofit, or for-profit corporation is invited to attend the required Information Session scheduled for Friday, April 22, 2022 at 9:30am via Zoom video conference. Registration for the Zoom Video Information Session, and any questions regarding the HCCBG, should be directed to Laura Regan, Family Caregiver Support Program Specialist, with the Piedmont Triad Regional Council Area Agency on Aging at 336.904.0300 or at lregan@ptrc.org.
