Are Invasive Plants Taking Over Your Forest or Lawn?

Join us for Integrated Pest Management for Invasive Plants of Piedmont on NC Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 9:30am - 3:30 pm. and learn how to create a management plan using a combination of biological, mechanical, cultural, and chemical controls.

Non-native plants become invasive when they spread uncontrolled to crowd out ornamentals, native plants and wildlife. According to NC State Extension, invasive plants are present in one out of every ten acres in southern forests, and they have the potential to double their impact over the next 50 years. Join us for this this in-person, hands-on workshop to learn how Integrated Pest Management (IPM) can be used to create management plans using a combination of biological, mechanical, cultural, and chemical controls.

Participants must attend the entire event to qualify for Professional Development credits:

  • NC Landscape Contractors: 4L
