No-Till Drill and Planting Cool-Season Forages

Now through October 15 is the best time to plant cool-season forages in our area, but you can plant as late as November 15. Check out the NC State Extension Forage Planting Guide at https://content.ces.ncsu.edu/planting-guide-for-forage-crops-in-north-carolina for more information about planting forages.

Soil and Water Conservation has a no-till drill available for rent. Call Mike Bowman at 336-703-2840 to reserve it.
