We hope you will join us every Thursday evening at 5:30 p.m. starting September 7, 2023. The course is limited to 25 participants and will include hands-on cooking classes that will focus on preparing and cooking recipes using local ingredients from farmers in the Forsyth County area. Participants will receive a bi-weekly produce box with ingredients from local farmers. In combination with the cooking classes, participants will be given general nutrition information, hands-on gardening activities, mindfulness approaches, and an exercise component.
The goal of the course is to promote the health and overall well-being of those involved while promoting the consumption and production of local produce for the community.
Classes will be held at:
N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center 1450 Fairchild Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27105
You can apply online by September 1, 2023.
