Forsyth County Government is hosting a Quality Aging Conference on Tuesday, Sept. 19, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Galilee Missionary Baptist Chruch, 4129 Northampton Drive in Winston-Salem.
The conference is intended to provide information to seniors and caregivers on how to maintain older adults’ independence as they age. Topics will include resources for seniors, Medicaid and Medicare, nutrition and dental health, brain health, emotional wellness and more. North Carolina State Elaine Marshall will give a presentation about her office’s work to protect state residents from scams and fraud.
