As we observe Mental Health Awareness Month during May, the Forsyth County Stepping Up Initiative Peer Support Specialists will host a free WRAP workshop on May 13 and 14 at the Central Library, 660 W. 5th Street, in the Dudley Conference Room on the third floor.
The Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) is recognized as an evidence-based practice by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). This workshop aims to equip attendees with essential tools to support them on their journey to wellness and recovery.
Registration is open and closes at 5 p.m. on May 8. To register, go to https://forms.office.com/g/L1EdHFL9ju?origin=lprLink.
We ask that you help us to get the word out to those that you provide services to by sharing the event flyer.
Only one session may be attended. Those interested in attending are asked to make a 1st choice and a 2nd choice for their preferred session. Registrants will be contacted by May 9 and provided the time and date of the workshop they will be attending.
Thank you and we look forward to seeing you.
